My favorite pizza in New Orleans. The pizza is always hot and fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend especially is you're our late on bourbon street.
The best fast pizza you'll find right off of Bourbon. The pizza on Bourbon at those daiquiri shops are trash. Vieux Carre is the absolute best in the Quarter. Always hot + fresh. Their menu offers more options as well besides pizza. Service is always great. Of course it's in the Quarter as I mentioned off Bourbon so it can get really busy at certain times-- but service is fast so you're in and out. There is limited seating inside. If you're ever in the city roaming down Bourbon and craving pizza, stop by!
Hungry off the late night?!? Stop here and enjoy a slice of fresh pizza (my favorite...sausage and pepperoni). The cashier made us fresh slices that came out quick. It's nothing fancy only 1 tablespoons inside. You don't need it take your slice for the road. Greedy me took a bite...or 2 before a picture.
First time here. Loved it. Food: The pizza slices are massive and taste so freaking good. I had the spinach, chicken pizza with pesto sauce. I have to say it blew my mind even though I only got 1 bite before a homeless man stuck his finger in my pizza slice and then stared at me emotionlessly. We had a staring contest for about 2 mi utes with no words, and after my brain finally comprehended what just happened, I chose peace and gave him the pizza slice because I'm obviously not going to eat it. Word of advice: Watch your food because people are hungry, haha. Went to get another slice, and they ran out. Smh....... it was still the best pizza bite I had. Service: The staff is not really engaged but I forgave them after I tatsed the slice. The male was on his phone, not really paying attention or being helpful to the customers. Atmoshere: It was pretty empty in the pizza joint, but the outside area was alive because it's on Bourbon St. The pizza shop inside is a little dark, but you can write your name on the bricks, which I definitely Italy did. Hopefully, it will still be there when I visit New Orleans in the future. Price: Prices are average, but you do get a lot for your money. Location: New Orleans in the French Quarter on Bourbon St. It's a great place seeing how everyone is in that area and food and drinks go together like steak and butter.
Best pizza near Bourbon street! I tried at least 5 different pizza by the slice places during my recent visits and this one by far beats all of them. Their pizza is thick and cheesy! Like that beautiful cheese pull you can't resist. From the dough, to the sauce, to the cheese, delicious. And the best part is, the process even beats the rest too! $5-$6 slices and worth every slice. Small establishment with very little seating.
Loved this place. The pizza was amazing and not expensive at all. The service was quick and they were really nice. There's a seating area not much room but the atmosphere was cool. You should give this place a try you won't be disappointed at all.
My friend said this was the place to be for a late night drunk meal and best believe it was. The service was amazing, the workers were cool af. We ordered two pepperoni slices and a meat lovers slice. They made sure we got fresh slices and it was still piping hot by the time we got back to our hotel which was like a 10 min Uber ride. The pizza was chefs kiss and the perfect way to end the night.
The Vieux Carre pizza is a confident one. It knows what it is and its purpose on this earth: to be devoured by some happy drunk at 2:30am, when the liquor has your dehydrated and your tummy feels paradoxically full, but empty. There's no fancy tricks: cheese, pep, meat lovers. Except for the Bourbon special. It's shockingly good for a street pizza. Pillowy and fluffy up top, with a nice, sturdy crust. Low on the grease too, cause it's meant to be taken on the go. Nothing fancy, consistently delicious, satisfying and just a good, ol' slice. Food: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Experience: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambience: 5/5 Good for: Drinking food. Notes: Don't be a hero. One slice should suffice.
Delicious big slices of pizza to go. Quick and easy to grab while you are out. There isn't fast food in the area but this would be the New Orleans version of fast food because you can get by the slice. We got cheese slices last night and then a pepperoni slice and cheese slice today and both were hot and tasty. Thick crust. It's like a walk up window where you order. They have a few kinds available by the slice. The server was friendly. It's right around all the bars and action of Bourbon street. Highly recommend for something quick and cheap.
